Beautiful Beautiful Bay of Islands
... is was to an uninhabited island where we swam, had a picnic and chilled on the beach. Once back in Russell Mikey treated us to dinner at the oldest pub in New Zealand and this super cute guy was serenading us while we ate, yummy yummy ;) A super weekend with friends in paradise, in deed! And, now back to work...

Booze Cruise
... When the cruise was over (around 8.30 pm), our captain drove us into town for a quick beer in the pub before heading back to the hostel.
It ended up being another late evening as we had all bought beers earlier on so we went up to the barn and had our own little party. There was a set of drums up there, so guess who jumped on them!!! Drums and beer do not go together!! Also, drinking and trying to play ...
Out in the bush!
... or what we thought was a small bush walk) - 2 hours later we got back after climbing up hills and sliding in the mud back down again - luckily i didn't fall over, unlike some of the others!!!
After our lovely dinner of tomato,tuna pasta we walked up to the look out point to take some photos overlooking the bay and watched the sun ...
