At last we are free, at last we are free. Today marks the beginning of a new journey in a campervan! We packed and scurried out of our hostel and headed towards the Dream Bus in the wet and windy Wellington weather. I grabbed my last delicious Havana coffee and it warmed me up a little bit. We got to the port a bit early so we just sat in line for awhile and kinda explored the van. Every button just has so many different tricks! The most of the stuff in the van runs off of the ...

I needed to escape this town and re-enter the world of short back and sides, before I became hypnotised and returned to my homelands with my own rats tail. I feared that this would be the start of a Rats Tail apocalypse and that like the creature itself I would carry it as a plague unto all corners of the earth. ...

... a wonderful art museum in a lovely 1908 building, Aigantighe, pronounced "egg and tie"("at home" in Scottish Gaelic) We saw a wonderful painting of a Maori chief by the famous artist, Charles Frederick Goldie. There were other paintings by other well known New Zealand artists. Afterwards we visited a quaint old ale house which used to be a brewery. We leave Timaru with the aid of the pilot and other tug boats as the entrance into the port is very narrow. Next stop, ...
