... a cup of chilli in the Brown Bear cafe, where Jim managed to restrain himself from asking the tattooed and slightly dentally challenged waitress to marry him. It wouldn't have worked, and Mary G might not have been too impressed, either.
On the way back down the mountain, the snow started to come down thick and fast. Our only stop was for me to scatter the ashes (plus Navajo earth) which I had scraped up at the Four Corners yesterday, in what had not been my finest hour.
... plus I have to sleep propped up with a million pillows) but on the bright side, I tell myself that waking up every two hours is just preparing me for when the babies arrive. My body should be ready to go, right?! No really, right? I'm terrified I'll never sleep again. Sigh...
On another note, I had my 'I'm finally ready to be a parent' moment while rocking in the glider ...
... picnic in the sunshine before making our way onto the old fashioned steam train to take us to Durango.
The ride on the steam train was really nice, took 3.5hrs. Took lots more photos. I'm running out of ways to say things look stunning, beautiful, breathtaking etc!!! I did feel a bit queasy at how close we were to the edge at times!!

... beautiful teal waters since living in New Zealand. Michaele and I spent much of the time cheering on the boys and sun bathing on the rock boulders, of course.
It was fun to have the Kellers out again and also share the twin news at our appointment. It was official...we began telling the rest of the family the additional baby news!

... and climbed to about 9000 ft at Silverton. Some of the mountains you will see in the photos are close to 14000 feet which is about 13984 feet higher than in NFM. At times breathing can be difficult and noticed at this altitude. The interesting thing about the 62 pictures I am posting today is that every one of them was taken blind. Today was truly a point and shoot even though I use a Canon Rebel SLR. ...
