The last day of our trip. We were up and making the walk to the bus station in Iceland early this morning. The good thing was that it wasn't raining. We took the bus to the airport. The only picture today was taken by Mitch in the airplane as we were waiting for push back. You will notice the raindrops on the window. We arrived in Iceland in the rain and left in the rain. But, we had a beautiful partly sunny day in between.

We are still in McCormick. Our actual trip starts on Friday, August 28. I am now in practice mode. I hope you will enjoy our trip to Denmark, Noway, Sweden, and Iceland.
We are now trying to decide what we need to take and what we can leave at home. When we went to Asia, we were thinking hot weather. We think it will be quite cool in Scandinavia.

This trip I am determined to use up a handful of smaller activity books with the girls, and picked up three "leave where you are when finished" books from the local second hand book shop for each of us especially as the girls are avid readers. The dogs are off to a dear friend's home, the valuables off to mum & dad's and after a decent rest ... off on our exciting adventure to explore and enjoy ...

We have enjoyed our stay at Mistletoe State Park for the last 5 days. The park is about 50 miles from Augusta, Ga and is on the Clarks Hill Lake. This lake is the start of the Savannah River and is a very popular place to fish.
