... from me for Christmas back at home. We had must enough time to grab a quick bite to eat at McDonald's before heading over to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre. We arrived with ten minutes to spare before curtain call. The musical Wicked is absolutely amazing! What a performance. I would see it again in a heartbeat. So much talent, and so well presented. It lasted close to three hours with the intermission. Following the end of the show, we decided to check out some of the sights ...

God is faithful to provide friends for seasons of our lives. They may serve only for a few weeks or months, but they're always there to refresh and encourage. And if you're particularly blessed, God allows them to take a more long-term role in your life. We can only pray :)

Thanks, Steve and Ashley, for your friendship so far this year! We already miss you and look forward to keeping the good times rolling :)

Today i am thankful for finishing both the bathroom and dining room in time for our gathering this evening. in order to make today's deadline, however, some Sophie's Choices (bing it) needed to be made.

in the dining room, rather than investing the time and effort in removing the awful wallpaper, i decided to paint over it..for now. yes, it was the easier ...

... to need all the help i can get with that nightmare. just call me Handy Manny from now on (although i must admit to being called that name before). it had nothing to do with home improvement. ;-)

on a different note, it appears that the next round of interviews for the job in st. louis is going to be scheduled at the end of this month, or the beginning of next month. as we all know, all Human Resource departments move at a glacial pace. im good ...
