... are all unique and the shops are as varied. One shop, Galena General Store has more hot sauces than I've ever seen in one place. I know Dick Wilson and Dave Millross would have been in "Hot Sauce" heaven.
The town sits near a river and the entrance has flood gates as that river can overflow. Just a unique place. You will enjoy the pictures soon. This would be a great road trip destination for us motor home junkies.

The James live in the RV Resort we stay in while in Florida during the winter. We parked the coach in their driveway and even get to use their electric. Turns out they were the FBO owner and his sons, and for the week of Oshkosh, in addition to especially inexpensive fuel ($5.01/gal when the rest of the country was $6 or more), they also put on a free lunch of barbecued pork sandwiches, homemade deserts, and just good old fashioned hospitality. This is what aviation in America should be - I just wish that there were more places like it.

We flew to Chicago on Friday (May 2) and spent Saturday morning and early afternoon with our oldest son, Daniel, his wife, Abby, and their two children before driving home.
