... out from the Serengeti for a short 1 hr flight vs the 8 hrs back across the bumpy terrain in the jeep then you really restrict your weight down to only 33lbs in total gear for that puddle jumper plane. Just saying take in all aspects before jumping into a ticket booking.

The morning today we spend having some last min quality moments with our kids before driving down to O'Hare to catch our evening flight. I love my ...

... boy's recommendation for dinner and visited The Lure on Lake Petenwell. Nice food, ambiance and a beautiful sunset on the lake.

The next day was July 4th, and we couldn't think of anything more American to do than to drive to Green Bay and tour Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. It was a great time and afterward, we ate lunch at Hagemeister Park, a riverfront cafe built on the same ...

... an emergency visit to a Weyauwega dentist.

The weather was superb: just warm enough to swim, cool enough to be comfortable walking, boating and above all sleeping at night. The heat wave was ahead of us --- started hitting high 90's (F) the day we checked out of the cabin.

Pat brought over a trailer full of kayaks so we had six in all, and all the cousins could go out together exploring paddle power through the chain.
