When it was time to climb in the taxi to head back to Monteverde we were all spent from the sun the saltwater and the waves. It had been a great weekend, but we were all glad to head back up into the cool green hills.

During our travel, Morgs has a knack of making friends with all and sundry. The bartender at the wet pool was definitely up for a chat with this Aussie kid. : ) We caught the last bus out of town to Tilaran - the town that I arrived to from Australia ...

... an hour. I've really had two relaxing days and it's been awesome. I just went home tonight cooked the biggest chilli, it will literally last me a week, and caught up on some tv shows on my iPad. Exciting Friday and Saturday night right? Day 14: Day off today and I of course woke up at 6:30am. Typical. I managed to get back to sleep till about 9, I suppose that constitutes as a lie in. I'm actually going to go to the beach today and have a proper day of sunbathing. I'm starting to ...

... leaving tomorrow and had one last stop at Witch's Rock for Mahi Mahi tacos and El Gato Malo, my new favorite local brew. There was some sort of surf competition going on today so the beach was pretty crowded with lots of activity.

I made my way back over to Playa Grande for high tide, which was about 3-4pm and was excited to get one last day of surfing in. It turned out to be the perfect way to end ...
