    ... s ABSOLUTE favorite- chocolate marshmallow ripple! We ate too much but not all of it, (really, not all of it). A quick trip into the visitor center and off we go! Well with a few more stops... a big sailboat marina, one of the Mississippi River locks, a fantastic Buena Vista photo opportunity, the Nelson Creamery where we bought some cheese curds, (they squeak on our teeth) and dinner in Trempealeau.     ... days, and then daily wear disposable contacts to wear after that so I don't keep re-infecting my eye.     ... a medical degree read WebMD to you! Yikes!

    We both got the same 25-page Travax summary of health risks in the countries we're visiting, including some cultural behaviors to be careful of, which could be misinterpreted.

    In the end, I feel pretty well prepared. It's kind of exciting to be going on a vacation that requires extra protection - seems more exotic and less touristy.

    ... I saw his gravesite in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA, earlier this year along with 5th President James Monroe and Confederate President, Jefferson Davis. You may (or may not) recall that Tyler became President upon the death of President William Henry Harrison, some 30 days after Harrison took office.

    ... took the 45 minute walking tour through the house and then browsed the museum. After watching a 12 minute video on Hayes, I went on the tour. I was the only one on the tour...again, I was not unhappy. A gentleman about my age and with a similar love for history named Jim gave me the tour. Quite a fascinating home. Reminded me of the 20 minute walking tours I used to give of the Lincoln Home area in Springfield. Very well ...
