... quite entertaining. Called Gypsy Guide we would all recommend that you check it out to see if there is one for the next area you travel in. We certainly are going to. Very reasonable cost ($5 to $10) and extremely helpful/entertaining. For sure they have guides for the Calgary/ Jasper/Banff/Kamloops corridors. Even though I have driven and at times lived in these particular areas since the early '50's I am going to purchase the guides because of the local ...

    ... like a roadrunner!

Rees and I headed for the game room/laundry room to attempt to put my journal entries on a blog site. We didn't get too far because we talked to a couple whose husband was from Sewanee, TN. ... most stunning views we have seen anywhere in the Rockies. We really can't say any more than this, other than to hopefully let the pictures speak for themselves.

As it had been so cold last night, we decided to book a room somewhere for tonight. McDs again and their fabulous free wifi to the rescue!

And Alanna and her home in Coer D'Helene, Idaho. We are almost in touching distance of the Canadian border here. We got a text from ...

The drive Monday to Banff was incredible! The highway is called the Icefield Parkway. The road goes through the mountains with glaciers for miles. We would come around a curve and the view was gorgeous. Then just a little bit further and the view was better. With every turn of the road the view would change. From the lakes, to the glaciers or just the mountains, it was an amazing drive. We stayed south of Banff ...
