Such a relaxing afternoon in the Caribbean. A few of us spent the evening on the beach lathered in sunscreen and I am happy to say that I have achieved the perfect Roatan tan. Yay! Not albino anymore and not an unnatural black. Now to just maintain it...! ... br> But Carla and I felt at ease here , and the locals and the people who work here are so nice. Its such a beautiful part of the world. Its got so many positive things going for it, and everything can't be perfect. I think the only downside would be the extra sense of awareness in the safety department, and those pesky sand flies.

... Champey. Our mountain lodge hostel was on a ridge, with views down both sides of the valley, a river running through the middle. It was a hard place to leave.
