This is a great area to come for a slow down and relax, beach stay at the bottom of the boot of Italy.

Our apartment is in a resort complex with an fantastic terrace and pool on the roof.

The kids loved swimming all day and we loved watching the stunning and beautiful sunsets each night up there.

Tropea is a cool town with a great vibe and many restaurants and little streets.

We walked to the top of the cliff and drove to this nice restaurant on top of the cliff.

We drove home and swam again and it was so nice because it was really hot.

And we played in there for about 2 hours.

Ended up as a good moving day.

Today is the second day and today we drove to Tropea and we walked around and I like this town it has a really ...

    ... resulted in punctures.

After our brief exploration of Marina de Nicotera, we headed on up to the town of Nicotera itself. The road was steep and winding. It was getting on for midday and the sun was beating down. After about 40 minutes, no sign of getting to the top of the hill and being chased by two barking dogs I had had enough. I had a brief discussion with John and headed back to the campsite and spent the rest of the afternoon on the ...
