    ... it as Jago would never have forgiven me. So settled for lunch and a swim in the sea instead. For dinner we struck gold. We were lucky to get a table at Tipico. The staff were great, everyone in the kitchen even the washing up lady seemed to be enjoying themselves. The guy at the bar usually ate there but was today filling in as his friend was sick and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. We all agreed it was our best meal so ...

    ... point from Italy. So we bid farewell to ham products three times a day as our slow ferry lived up to its billing with a chug out into the Adriatic Sea. The town of Rovinj was alive and buzzing when we arrived at 9.30pm. A local group was singing very loudly on a stage by the water. People were drinking, dinning and wandering the streets.     We first find a beach next to a campground and wander in thinking we might at least find shade. We sit on the grass for awhile, leaning against a wall but it doesn't feel right so we get up and start walking.     We packed up and headed out on a shorter drive this morning - this time the end destination is the Adriatic coast, but first Laura found a castle that hits all the right notes in the guidebook so we are going to stop there on the way.
