    We then drove to Perge, an ancient Greek city founded in approximately 1000 BC. It came to fame during the Roman rule and was one of the leading centers of Christianity. The Apostle Paul mentions it several times in his writings. The ruins show what must have been a fabulous city, complete with hot and cold baths, a sewer system, and a series of sales stalls.

For tonight, we dropped off our luggage (we love our hotel) and walked down to a recommended sea food restaurant.     ... terrace cafe overlooking the Mediterranean. Slow is good! Finished the day off with another Turkish bath. This was an authentic one...not the tourist version! Not too different...except the first part in the sauna was MUCH hotter. Cleaned out my sinuses! Ahhhhhh! Oh- and we had a mud mask with it!
