Later on that day we were asked to show up for a flag bearing practice, we all did and it was pretty boring as for 50 percent of the time the Rotarians had no idea what they wanted either, but eventually they worked out what they wanted and we had a decent practice session. So I took an early morning walk to the ATM, grocery, and Gloria Jeans; two-hour boat ride; leisurely lunch and dinner in an outdoor cafe; afternoon walk past shops; and sat in the pension garden. The Mediterranean truly is turquoise in color here, the breezes soft, very ...

... into Antalya to the Old Town section, a maze of cobblestone alleys, restored homes and those remodeled into pensions, shops, cafes, and boutique hotels. The streets were too narrow for our bus so we walked our suitcases to the pension. Then we took a walking tour of Old Town: Hadrian's Gate, a supermarket, walking past shops and cafes to the Mediterranean. Dinner was served outdoors in a peaceful restaurant with many courses including two desserts. Very ...
