... out and sold one. I also had a free oranges sign and the tangelo, which had at least 200 oranges on it, is almost empty. At 12:30 we headed to Mesa Art center for the Cheng Yun Chinese Ballet that we have tickets for, and arrived in plenty of time. What a great experience! This was worth the expensive tickets. Back home and later played pool and tonight I won both games. A meal of salad, beans and hotdogs and some TV.

A Hike to remember

We took off on a hike this morning on the Overton Trail, here in the park. Lynn checked out the map and found what she liked, a hike of about three miles. We walked from the coach to the trailhead of the Clay Mine trail. It merges with the Overton at about a mile from our site. The rental horses use a good part of the trail and thus the surface is deep, nasty dust. That's a good reason to wear boots. We did.

On sunday Mark and Svetlana took us for a drive round the north area of Scottsdale to Cave Creek and Carefree through Pleasant Valley what great names they have here...!!..it was very nice to see all the large properties built to blend in to the desert., with flat roofs and beige sandy coloured rendering...

In the evening Svetlana cooked us a delicious mexican meal..and we made final plans for the wedding..
