    ... We went for a walk around the Dorsoduro district. This was a bit more like it. Great sunset, saw off a couple of cruise ships then on the way back, got lost amongst a neighbourhood where every shop was like an exhibition. Quite interesting, still touristy but had some substance to it. A lot of shops had huge display windows, and there were glass makers, painters, sculptors and all sorts of other stuff on display.     ... back there was a sense of relief as we had worked hard. Back across the open water, this time it seemed less of a struggle. Then into the calm waters till we arrived back at the moorings. We were exhausted but felt very pleased with what we had achieved. We allowed the ferry to carry us home. Pizza was on the menu for our final meal in Italy and it did not disappoint.     We also took a gondola ride and saw the Rialto Bridge. The gondola ride was incredible and it was nice to tour the city and just enjoy time being on the water.     ... little table on the edge of the steps that led into the canal, right under the Rialto Bridge! Dinner was excellent.

    Today we had a leisurely day around the ship, went to the gym, spa/steam, and ate dinner in the steakhouse on the ship as we embarked. We are finally on our way, even though we feel like we have been here for a week!

    Arriving in Dubrovnik tomorrow!
