      Warm scattered cloud- looks like rain 18 deg Breakfast at bnb was **** packaged food so went to local cafe for good coffee and brioche and nice sweet ricotta pastry. Walked 500m back to carpark and found way back to autostrada fairly easily - well signposted for a change. Amazing built up road winding road that turned back on itself to get up hill. Easy drive back to car rental yard- they charged extra ...

      So today is our last day in beautiful Ambra. We woke up and did a lot of packing and housework/cleaning. It has been great to stay in a proper house for nearly 3 weeks for free.       After breakfast this morning I went down to the local hairdresser (about 30 steps from where we live) and enquired for an appointment this afternoon. She was happier to do it immediately so I had hair cut number 4 and colour number 3 in Italy! I am hoping this will be the last one – although it only cost me 56 euros today (about $80) so definitely cheaper than Adelaide. Colour seems great, I am undecided about the cut ...
