    Got up went to Grand Piazza had the usual. Ian has a friend that he worked with in Vancouver Jeff, who now has a place in Orvieto for 7 months of the year, he and Ian had planned a day trip to Orvieto prior to our arrival here.     ... We went to the local Basilica first( is this the 57th church we have been in?) and then down the road to look at the villa in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun.     ... and so historic!! Headed back and along the way decided to have dinner at the restaurant Catrina from the first stop we made the other day had made Ristorante Fattoria Pulcino. Over all we weren't too impressed! So back to Montepulciano we go caught the end of another beautiful sunset.     ... steps to the tourista office and she gave me a map and explained how to get to our hotel. Phew!!!!! What a beautiful place!!! Found our hotel driving down these winding streets trying to avoid hitting people and cars. Met Gabriella at the hotel she gave us a parking pass(as you can't park without one) then up to our rooms oh my god what a spectacular view from our room.
