Arrived at Outdoor Resort St. Lucie West, Port St. Lucie FL. Home for the next month. A beautiful place, I have never seen so many Prevosts in one place!! We have a nice spot overlooking a small lake, with a lighted fountain. Have seen large turtles but no gators. Larrys cousin Bob & Shirley have a place here as do their friends Ton & Sandy. New Years Celebration at the club house was a luau themed ...

... acacia trees produce. I mean everything --every flat surface inside and outside the MH. Even my computer keyboard is covered with it. It rained yesterday and the puddles were full of yellow pollen that had washed off the MHs.

I noticed when I washed clothes today that my clothes are getting beat up. Although many were fairly new when I left home, I can see I'll be tossing most of them out when I get return..

Last night was a record low temperature for the 7th of December. The previous record of 42F was set in 1842, and we stumped that with a whopping 40F. I'm sure my parents in Minnesota, the boys' families and friends in New Hampshire, and the Woods Hole crowd all scoff at that number...but either way, bummer that we came to Florida for some of its record cold temperatures! Luckily, the forecast is looking to improve in the next day or two. We had ...
