Well as I sit here in Costa Rica awaiting my flight home in the morning, I am feeling quite overwhelmed when I look back over the past 7 months. I can't quite believe how much we managed to pack into our time in South and Central America, and although we didn't visit every single country on the list, we had a good balance of taking it slow and moving at a pace!

My mom loves dance music and had a good time mingling with teen Ticos (there were a Lot of families on the side too). Yaco sang a song called "Welcome to Costa Rica" twice-- we appreciated his gesture, lol. The concert was a nice way to wrap up the day on a good note. Too bad we didn't take our cameras! We were too tired and miserable coming down the mountain today to take a lot of pictures ...
