Arrived in Naples to find the roads from the dockland area controlled by police. Not quite sure what the problem was, but in spite of that, access onto the autostrada, and heading in the right direction was accomplished smoothly. Sigh of relief!
... didn't even walk around, but we were amazed that we were there!
When we finally arrived at Pompeii and managed to get inside, I cannot tell you how incredible that place is! In fact, I kept saying there are not enough words to describe how astounding it is! And, we only walked through a small portion. It is an extremely vast place and absolutely remarkable! Like I said, words cannot describe adequately enough how mind-blowing it is! ...
... her bulk purchases. B) on the way home from that visit I did stop in the store near the house, ...I need a bit more flour. I go pick out a small bag to drop in my bin and start to laugh.....how can flour be exciting? No not nude baking but look at the packaging...I had to buy it! I like the retro look like the 40s but how can baked goods and flour be marketed to men, try to picture attached! Just again some of the interesting parts of grocery shopping on my little Italian ...

All these remain unanswered for now but I do like how well protected and respected Pope Benedict has been treated since his resignation. Regardless of the why he left/ resigned, Gods people are called to love one another and treat each other as they themselves ...
