Traveled today from Grand Portage, MN to Bemidji, MN. On the way, we missed Betty's Pies. The parking lot was packed full, no place for the truck and coach.
Bemidji is the home of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox Babe. We checked out the statue by Lake Bemidji while on our way to dinner. We will spend the overnight here and head to Detroit Lakes, MN tomorrow.

Then we get back and decided since we worked all day cleaning we should do the windows on the camper. Done now they are expecting rain tonight. ... season was two months!!! We then drove to an area they call The Picture Rocks which are gorgeous cliffs and sand dunes! It has tons of caves and in the winter people visit the caves where huge ice cicles hang. I will just imagine that!!! :-) We then drove to Duluth Minnesota to watch the tall ship parade. Tomorrow I will be following Rt. 2 to Ashland WI on Lake Superior. I'm looking forward to seeing the lake for the first time.
