... the trees would have been on fire. There had been a wind storm the past couple days and almost all the trees were blown bare. The views were still great though because all the valleys were protected from the wind and filled with orange fiery leaves. ... trip because my mom was a wuss. And then another time with my mother for her first time outside! Sadly that time we couldn't stay very long because there was an incident on a friends climbing trip to Seneca, but luckily everybody was okay.

The Talking Headwall seems like a classic, I am sure I will visit there more in the future :) Hopefully Buzzards next door too!

... Sydney’s Victoria Road during peak hour, but, as I pointed out to Mrs Henry, plenty of opportunity for a mass shooting for anyone so inclined. Gatlinburg was a bustling tourist town. Although there’s only one way through the Smokies, it can be reached by a multitude of roads going around the Smokies or originating west of the east-west divide. Bad holiday planning? Not at all. As I pointed out to Mrs Henry, you don’t want to overplan.
