Our first day on the road. Tori wants to stay on interstates and close to big cities. It is a challenge to my usual driving style. We did manage to get through both Baltimore and Washington DC with only a minor tie-up. Stopped and ate at chain restaurants. Not my usual style but this is Tori's trip. Our next destination is Arlington, Texas. Tori has a friend there.
... cave in the area called Luray Caverns. The area is dominated by limestone and with limestone comes caverns and karsts. We drove through the small town of Luray and pulled into the Cavern parking lot. Not only was the cavern here, but there were museums, historic buildings, a garden maze and more.
