Trapani is a picturesque city on the northwest coast of Sicily with a nice old town surrounded by the sea and a nice seawall walk. South of Trapani is the "Salt Road" , where you can drive through the salt flats and learn about the production of sea salt, which Trapani is well known for. For example we found mozarella comes in different shapes and sizes and they even taste different depending on how ripe they are. Other attraction in the city is the archeological park. At the end of the city a nice and big park but probably the last time they maintained it was about 20 years ago. A heirbahn, a ...

... meters with some downward hills in between and then for most of the second half to go down to the sea in Nubia, close to Tripani. On our route we e supposed to visit the temple of Sagesta, which we saw far on a hill. But in the end we missed the entry to the archeological park. A pity and now on our list for the car trip when we plan to go from Palermo to the South by car. By the time we were close to the temple, we stopped at a place ...
