Rise and shine at 4 a.m.! Funny how you can't get out of bed for work but a super early alarm goes off for vacation and your feet hit the floor before you turn the alarm off. After two days on I-70 it was time for something different. Kansas' Route 18 runs mostly parallel to 70 just to the north so we decided to try that out. Just when we started to wonder what else there was in Kansas to see besides I-70 and wind turbines - a BILLBOARD came to the rescue! (Billboards are illegal in Vermont, so we find them quite fascinating.) Dorothy from THE WIZARD OF OZ was from Kansas. And there it was, at Exit 328 - THE OZ MUSEUM in Wamego, KS. Only 9 miles off the Interstate!!
