... sleep over at Pasa Robles, a short drive to Pismo the next morning. Since our checking was only 12:00 PM we drove through to Grover beach where we spent the morning walking the beach to Pismo Beach and back. The 3 coastal towns/communities are very close to each other. You could ride a bicycle from one end to the other at an easy pace in 30 minutes ("easy" is relative, I know my family would argue). Stopping at most of the scenic and photo ...

The chap next to me was a very friendly Aussie who is now a US citizen, told me what ...

You choose your base and toppings then as you move down the line, your pizza goes through a high speed cooker and arrives just as you pay, and the pizza were marvellous. Sam not a fan of Pizza so, after a quick check on the other food stores, plus it was getting late, I promised to grab him a burger ...

... but we’re getting closer. After generic England and Olympic chat with the baristas, generic confusion over the name ‘Pippa’ (the need to whack out my alter ego ‘Mercedes’ grows) we make it to Santa Barbara’s main seafront area. Highly recommended for its white sand, blue sky, surfers and sailors, but take note and do not attempt to park on the pier. After a couple ...
