And just for a change its overcast AGAIN this morning, but this time there is a smattering of rain! Let's hope it disappears...

Had a lazy morning, after an intense day yesterday so decided to just take it easy today. The sun only woke up at 7:30am so why should we get up before it?? The town was quiet and hardly any traffic by the time we did venture out, which was a great sign for our trip.

... friendly state beach so we leash up Maverick and Molly and take them with us.Trails line the bluff for miles. Below the 20' high bluffs lie petite sandy beaches, pretty tidal pools and rock outcroppings. Morro Bay and its famous rock can be seen at a distance. This is wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature.

We head on back to the campground happy that we once again traveled our favorite portion of coastline.

... could get to in about 2-3 hours, and agreed on Pismo Beach. The first park we stopped at was Pismo Beach State Park which was camping on the beach, I mean literally on the beach. We drove up to the entrance and the woman ranger told us that we would need four wheel drive to camp since the tide was up, and if we got stuck it would cost $125 dollars to be towed. Uhh, no thanks.
