This morning started with packing of luggage and checking of rooms to make sure we didn't leave anything behind. After all this, we set off for a 4 hour bus trip to New York, the Big Apple! Our bus driver Curtis, who is a born and bred New Jersey native was a font of knowledge and trivia along this trip. He did a great job at keeping the boys engaged. Another happening is the Halloween preparations are starting, some gardens and apartment windows being decorated, and a lot of big orange pumpkins for sale the largest with a US$50 price tag. We walked to Washington Square and from there walked a short distance looking for a cafe for brunch. We saw an Indian restaurant and enjoyed the meal. It's actually quite small now that the surrounding buildings are so tall.
There isn't anything to do on Staten Island, so we finished off our wrap, while awaiting the return ferry.
