Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

Underground caves and snake farm

First stop today was a visit to the Nature Bridge caves just out of Schertz. We decided to take both tours into the two separate caves. The scenery is becoming more like the ...

Let's hope Ryan doesn't freeze in the mean time, though in saying that he has only been wearing a t-shirt, jumper and jeans and his beanie. He claims he isn't cold, yet his is always keen to go inside where it's warmer. We got back to the motel about 4:00 pm; I thought we were going out at 5:00 pm ready for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, but again I had stuffed up the time..I blame the fact that ...

... this river is man made or not but it was very pretty. There was restaurants and cafés all along the edge so we stopped at one to grab another snack. I had a delicious dark chocolate and fudge cake with walnuts and raspberry. Mmm. Once we had finished there it was time to meet up to head back to the campsite. We had pizzas for tea and our tour leader gave us a quick run down on Americas favourite pastime, ...
