The hot tap was where the cold tap should be so by deduction the cold tap was where the hot tap should be. This proved to be the case. As well, the taps both turned on in opposite directions. My left hand immediately adjusted to the situation but my right hand found it all very confusing. So I never knew if I was going to have a hot shower or a cold shower ...
