    ... br> We wanted to stop at a wine tasting vineyard so we picked Jeriko Winery. So glad that we did because we were the only ones there and got to sample a couple of nice wines. It was a beautiful place the the guy let us walk around the vineyard, go out where the grapes were and even sample the grapes on the vine. It was fun.

    Tomorrow we drive back to Oakland for the night and fly out at 6:00am.

    ... change south of Eureka but did not appreciate that we would be entering the coastal mountain area. There was a lot of elevation change - many 7% grades. And the heavy rain continued until....

    ... also an organic farm inspector. They subscribe to Yes! Magazine and other stellar pubs. They use well water and so do not add to the state's strain on it's rivers to the detriment of fish and the environment. They also reuse greywater. They are working on a powerpoint presentation for their community on the negative, actual, effects of genetic engineering in agriculture. (I might help with editing and research if it keeps raining.) We have lots more in common as well. :)

    So I got a wash and some pizza at Marino's. I marveled at the tasty crust and the pesto pie which was captivating. Finally, I'm on the road. I'm thinking about Mendocino but, end up pointed for Point Arena and the Mountain View Road.
