Found SF a little frustrating with kids but you can drive straight into the centre and park. Sometimes for free. What a novel experience. I hadn't realised that the whole SF bay is so developed and that places like Berkley and Cupertino are arranged round the bay which has four bridges. My Apple devices sang happily to themselves as they headed for home. We went to the very wonderful academy of Science and the botanical Garden. However you have to pay through ...

... br> We wanted to stop at a wine tasting vineyard so we picked Jeriko Winery. So glad that we did because we were the only ones there and got to sample a couple of nice wines. It was a beautiful place the the guy let us walk around the vineyard, go out where the grapes were and even sample the grapes on the vine. It was fun.

Tomorrow we drive back to Oakland for the night and fly out at 6:00am.

We all got a bit of a late start, but then the big boss kept me up until 2:00 a.m. playing music with Matt so it was all good. We had cereal with mango, strawberry and blackberry. This morning Eric took Jen and Anne to Fetzer, to see a large scale winery. And they went as far as Ukiah for errands. I was glad to not be int the car and Jen got plenty of pictures. Matt and I talked ...

        ... drive through washes.

So I got a wash and some pizza at Marino's. I marveled at the tasty crust and the pesto pie which was captivating. Finally, I'm on the road. I'm thinking about Mendocino but, end up pointed for Point Arena and the Mountain View Road.

Mountain View Road was serious Serious grades, the most hairpin turns I have encountered yet. This was a shorter ride than the marathon through ...
