... but since we already have all the Bigfoot souvenirs we will ever need - none, we just looked and took pictures.
The next commercial sites were right next door to each other. The first was the Grandfather Tree, which was just a big redwood with a gift shop. But the second was much more interesting, it was the one-log house. Originally built in 1946, the one-log house is an entire house built into a hollowed out log. It was ...

... br> We wanted to stop at a wine tasting vineyard so we picked Jeriko Winery. So glad that we did because we were the only ones there and got to sample a couple of nice wines. It was a beautiful place the the guy let us walk around the vineyard, go out where the grapes were and even sample the grapes on the vine. It was fun.

Tomorrow we drive back to Oakland for the night and fly out at 6:00am.

Young people want to come to vineyards and this one has so many attractions. We are all doing our best to be respectful of all our different perspectives and I think they know that the four of us are a good, cohesive, though fleeting, crew.

    ... drive through washes.

So I got a wash and some pizza at Marino's. I marveled at the tasty crust and the pesto pie which was captivating. Finally, I'm on the road. I'm thinking about Mendocino but, end up pointed for Point Arena and the Mountain View Road.

Mountain View Road was serious Serious grades, the most hairpin turns I have encountered yet. This was a shorter ride than the marathon through ...
