The waves broke over where we were and just a little bit of my pants got wet but not to worry - this was fresh water and the pants dried nicely. It was hard to get my head around the notion that water and sand do not mean salt water. It would have been good to come at a time when I could have swum in the water and experienced that activity. There were mixtures of red, orange, yellow, burgundy as well as a variety of hues of green. This would be a painters delight. I just hope the pictures we took will do it justice. We passed through the town of Corning and although we ...

... things like My grandparents are – nice. They like to make - a garden. G’ma is good at – crafts. G’pa is good at – building. They live in – a van. The fact that we live in a van hadn’t really occurred to us before, but we guess that’s true. That puts a new spin on things. At least we don’t live down by the river in a van, although some nights that would be an upgrade.

We still made ...
