... and by taking an on-site walking class of Ancient Roman Monuments (from which I can confidently say that I can take anybody on a tour of Ancient Rome).
By living in Rome, I learned a sad amount of the Italian language, how to dangerously cross the road in the midst of afternoon traffic, the closest place to watch the sunset, which public transportation to take without having to purchase a ticket, and how easy it is to **** off any Italian... all important things to survive ...

These new cars have a windowless wall for the seats in the center. I read a bit, tried to do the NYTimes crossword puzzle and slept. Got a taxi home and had to call Omar to let him know I was back. ... ourselves with some sandwiches/wraps to order and other fixin's for a lunch on the river. We then went up to find a place to put in. The first one required a permit to park and getting into the river would be a little tricky and the second didn't have a good way to get down to the river. At the third (further up the river at a bridge crossing and the junction with River Road), we found a good spot for putting in. We had to drag the ...
