My last night in Rome will never be forgotten. I spent it walking around with my closest friends, drinking wine, eating gelato, and seeing every monument for my last time abroad. I say "last time abroad" for a reason because I don't plan on it being my last time at all. I will definitely be back to Rome to show my future family where I spent four of the most amazing months of my life, thus far. Rome has become a part of me, and I will forever be grateful for that.

He doesn't come running to greet me the way he used to do. Oh, well. It is still good to see him....

... ourselves with some sandwiches/wraps to order and other fixin's for a lunch on the river. We then went up to find a place to put in. The first one required a permit to park and getting into the river would be a little tricky and the second didn't have a good way to get down to the river. At the third (further up the river at a bridge crossing and the junction with River Road), we found a good spot for putting in. We had to drag the ...

... kept swimming back and forth around us. It was a wonderful encounter on our last morning on Grand Cayman! We didn't know exactly what kind they were, but Kara thinks they were some kind of parrotfish.

We got back to our room around 10:30 am and finished packing. Kara dried a whole bunch of stuff. I ripped some pages of interest from the various tourist guides. We sorted out our remaining food, ate our last yogurts and ...
