    ... of French fries! American soldiers in the was didn't know where they were when they had these tasty treats, they just knew the people spoke French so they got the name wrong! The cathedral of Saint _____ was next and it had lovely bells that played green sleeves (I think). It took 700 years to build and was only officially completed in 1990 cos every time they ran out of money they had to stop! We saw the Palace gardens/park and the royal palace ...

    ... It had a really good subtle flavour, with lots of vegetables. It was an insanely large portion though and despite her best efforts, Kim got nowhere near finishing it! With a beer and a mineral water, the bill came to €50, pretty reasonable for a major European city, but hopefully there will be cheaper meals to come otherwise we will be home before Christmas!
