We walked on past the parliament where we brought waffles from a vendor, now I thought that waffles were like pancakes only done in a funny pan, however these ones were more like a delicious pastry with a sugary syrupy outside, so good in fact that we ordered another from the next vendor, this wasn't as good. - The main stage was a volcano with two waterfalls, a water canon, flowers, smoke and fire. There were a couple floating stages each with their own theme and decorations such as floating flowers and water from the ceiling, huge candy decorations etc. The second main stage was a butterfly and had a large ferris wheel behind it.

... and Kee and later Jackie at a cute beer place called Beermania. The owner makes his own brew called Mea Cupla and serves it in a really cool glass. He also stocks a few hundred varieties of bottled beer and plays great jazz. All in all a very comfy place. ... 1619, the statue has been repeatedly stolen; the current statue is a copy from 1965. It'd could be the next project for 80 Timms Road, an outdoor water feature of the Manneken Pis! Just across the street from here was the waffle stand, with their products on offer from €1. We jumped at the opportunity to try some of Belgium's finest.
