Day 15- Good bye New York

... was going to buy a cookie and punch. I spent forever choosing between gelato and sorbet at an ice cream stand and in the end decided to get hazelnut cafe, chocolate and sugar caramel ice cream with a passion fruit sorbet drink. It was so good!

We headed back to the hotel and spent a final half an hour at the roof top bar looking out over New York as the sky was blue with few clouds.

Still have some things to tick off the list.
1. Empire State Building - not as clear a day, but with beautiful art deco marbling in the interior and 73 lifts, a very impressive building and we were all pretty happy with the view from the 86th Floor. Katie still not quite convinced this is as tall as the Eiffel Tower. Next.
2. Ella's choice, Madame Tussauds - Heaps of fun, heaps of laughs, the girls had a ball.

On Friday 21st March we met up with Alex and Ed who were holidaying in NY with Alex's family. After some bubbly at the flat watching the sunset we headed to Five Napkin and then gave the cheesecake queen (aka Alex) her fill at Juniors.
