NYC In Less Than 24 Hours
... spending 4 years studying it, what happened that day. I got all emotional seeing the names written on the memorial and just thinking how helpless and how brave all these people must have been.
The memorial site itself was beautiful and couldn't think of a better way to remember. The water pools were beautiful and Jess pointed out that the gardens were so perfect they looked like something out of the Sims.

Big City Lights
... seeing as I had chosen the game the day before. We got on a (free!) tour, which involved being shown the stuff that goes into the beer, the factory itself, and finally sitting in a big tasting room and tasting four different kinds of Sam Adams. Snellers was in heaven! Our guide was really good and we got to keep the little glass , not bad for a free tour! After the tour the company offered free shuttle bus to a nearby Irish pub which let's you keep the pint glass when you buy a Sam ...
Daytrip around the Big Apple
... saying "go with a Ford, come back with the train". Quote of the day goes to a chap we passed (with a rastafarian hairstyle that almost touched the ground) who was on a mobile to someone "Hey, you don't come to New York to see me, you come to drink champagne and go crazy" - we shouldn't be listening into people's phone conversations, but that was a good summary of the reason why anyone should come to this city.
