    ... a kind person who offered to lead us to the location, just outside of town. We found our hostess to be an outgoing single parent renting rooms to a houseful of painters working on a new school.     Up early and catch the bus into the city, then trek up to Edinburgh castle, Very impressive which is just as well as it was a bloody hard slog up the hill to get there!!
