... and apparently snow is forecast in the hills over the next few days, so that should be fun! He was a bit like your dad giving us tips on how to drive and look after ourselves. Also told us to watch out in the north as petrol stations do not always open on the weekend. Very sweet really!

I'm not the only fan, because the Scottish National Trust has preserved his birthplace and childhood home as a museum, and a statue of Peter Pan stands in the town square (in front of Hook Hotel and The Wendy Shop). Favorite Peter Pan trivia: the girls' name "Wendy" was invented in the Peter Pan story, based on a little girl who called Barrie her "Friendy-Wendy."

... with ya don't you know. Sometimes it's just a wee mist and not worth opening it up at all, but sometimes it drizzles, then it stops and your good to go.
