    ... the owner, showed us his collection of taxidermy and shared everyone's names. Huge 13 ft alligator, he bought a stuffed 800 lb bison and cut its head off and hung it up, bears, boars, moose, pronghorn, a dog?! We got 4 craft beers for $12 somehow, and we went back to the campsite.

    After tonight we will pack up and go to Grand Teton National Park!!

    Left farm 5:15am. Delivered Ians truck to Regina. Misty from Regina into US. NO ISSUES AT BORDER. Lunch and fuel at Miles city, MT. $3.19. $62.45 HAYLEY had great heart report. No more warfarin.     ... tumbling out and I had a huge glob of strawberry yogurt (Tillamook no less!) on the floor. It was supper time by then, so I gave Minnie hers and cleaned up the mess before carrying on. Casper appears to be an oil and gas town and not particularly tourist friendly.

    Ended up carrying on to Douglas to a KOA. Made a quick supper of hotdogs with fried onions and mushrooms and then went over to enjoy the hot baked banana boats they were handing out for an ...

    ... grass, herds of cattle, a beautiful blue sky, and a few cars and trucks. The 'Texas trail' went through this region. Also the 'Pony Express' in 1861-62 which was eclipsed by the telegraph in 1862. By the way, in addition to cattle breeding, Wyoming is also a large coal producer; 40% of the nation's electricity is produced with Wyoming coal.

    ... the train museum - her husband is an engineer) - one train I counted at 130! You see them all the time in this area, full or coal and moving along with 2 to 3 engines, or they are lined up two or maybe three strong at a switching station waiting to be filled. They have to stretch for over a mile. My math majors - you do the calculations on the length of one car times 145 and we'll see how far they really do go.
