What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

We have been on the road for about a month by this point and we have settled into a pretty good rhythm with camper living whilst keeping a pretty fast pace. We have done about 3000 miles so far with maybe 9 or 10 thousand to go over the next four months . Our routine is often spending 2 or 3 nights per week in an RV park or state park, 2 or 3 in a Walmart, and one or two random eg. carpark, country roads etc. in short it would be nice ...

One day last week when it was warm out I took a walk down to the water and took some pictures which are shown in the video I posted. Back in mid October, I had the pleasure of going into the Roanoke Rapids, and I posted a few of those pictures as well.
I hung with family, even building a brick walkway for my cousin. That is what life is about, being of service to others. Having great laughs ...
