After 191 days, 36 states, and over 7,300 miles, it's time. That's right. It pains me very much to do this, but 6 months on the road has taken a very heavy toll.

So, I must now officially announce that my 27 1/4" Continental Gatorskin front tire and my 20 year old, size 9 Shimano biking shoes have finally seen their final miles. The trusty tire was one especially made for touring with super tough Kevlar ...

It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.

It was incredible to be grubby travellers bouncing along in our oversized kitchen appliance camping at Walmart and then to be amongst a family with home cooked meals in woodland lake paradise. Thanks also to Dale and Cathy for the ride in the chopper (Robbie 66 beaut machine), for another lovely meal and a blast on a stupidly powerful jetski (I’m just starting to get some colour back in my knuckles). See you back in ...

Our alarm went off at 5:00 a.m. this morning and we dragged ourselves out of bed to finish our last minute packing of toiletries, etc. and pack our cooler bag with the sandwiches and salads purchased yesterday for us to enjoy on the bus later today. Since we arrived at WDW last Thursday evening, we have only had approximately four to five hours of sleep each night. There has just been so much to do and not enough hours in the day to fit it ...

... checked in at the hotel, the three of us headed across the parking lot to Cracker Barrel for some yummy dinner options. This is one of my favourite restaurant options whenever we are down south. If we had one at home, i would be there a few times each week. Tonight, Courtney ordered the buttermilk pancakes with fried apples and whipped cream. Nancy had a delicious grilled chicken BLT sandwich with hash ...
