We're hitting the road again today. We will be heading towards New Orleans to see the sights. Eboney has read a few books that mention the Lafayette cemetery so that will be one of the sights. We got up late after a fitful sleep! Headed off to the Nasa Space Center. Amazing history of space travel and lots of fun things for the kids. A real live space shuttle on site, gives perspective on its immense size and the how astronauts can make there way to space. Precision is a must! What a great day! ... survived because of the music industry. The Mississippi delta area is very depressed. Fort Payne also looks like it suffered when the mining boom never materialised.

Nice forest park on the ridge above the town with beautiful waterfalls. Well presented and nice trail down to the falls. Bit spooky, when I got there the car park was empty, but when I got to the falls there were 3 guys there!!!

Anyway, off cross country to Rome, yep Rome, Georgia!!!
