    Getting towed tomorrow

    ... and the floor angles down so everyone has a view of the large stage. The wall is decorated with great pictures of musicians of all kinds, and the entree fee is a donation of your choice. Popa Chubby was phenomenal and so were the acoustics. This was something we had not done in a long time, and we had a great night.
    And so tomorrow morning we wait for our ride to West Haverstraw....I hope it is a lot less crazy than the last time we were towed!!! ...

    ... Of course the locals have no idea what it means!

    I visited Phil and Tracy, their two lovely daughters, two Corgies (queens Elisabeth's favourite dog), James and William, a tall Jack Russel, Tobi, and two cats, Quentin and Angelina.
    Quentin is my new friend and at night jumps on my bed to keep me company.

    ... and we will see what happens. I tried to finish working on the handrails on the deck while waiting to get them ready for cetol, and Marty solved our mysterious electrical issue which popped up along the last passage. Another night with the wakes and trains..... but this time we didn't have to get up at 5 am. Our weather window is lost, so there is no rush anymore. We will be stuck in NYC for at least a week, so we will probably stay at a marina ...

    ... what we have had lately probably killed the crowds. It was a really interesting place though. We left before the next downpour and made it back in time for Marty to try to stop the waterfall of water coming down the mast with a quick duct tape fix. It actually helped quite a bit, but we still had enough water come into our shallow bilge to set it and our high alarm sensor off while we were trying to call my parents. I hope the rain stops tomorrow so we ...

    ... of the park. Cottages are available for rent. This is a big complex of over 1,000 acres. In the park there are picnic areas, trails, bridle paths, fishing, two 9 hole golf courses, cross country skiing, sledding hills, snowmobiling and the Mills Mansion.
