    To summarize a few travel tips we learned from our experience in Ireland and UK: The weather can be cold, we visited in September and it was colder than we expected. Pack layers, I brought some heavy sweaters but I wish I would have packed my lightweight parka. I also had gloves and ear warmers which were helpful for our boat trip to Michael Skellig and for walking at night. Definitely bring a rain jacket and an umbrella, it will rain.
