Monday morning, we woke up and broke camp. After breakfast, we got on the Blue Ridge Parkway from NC-181 and starting heading southbound towards Crabtree Falls. ... come across a Black Bear up on Chimney Rock, but it is a rare occurrence. You may also see deer from time to time, and the usual smaller mammals.

Peregrine Falcon's are known to live on the cliffs. Wouldn't that be fun to see one whizzing by you at 200 mph. (Fastest Bird in flight).

Definitely a great spot to visit and to hike if you have the time.

After we got to the house and took Zero in -- found a closet pretty quickly and slept the rest of the day - we unloaded my bug-caked Prius. Gotta get a picture of that. As promised the PODS arrived, one at a time, with the same driver bringing both. Nice guy, he and Ray had to figure out how to get the two PODS in the driveway with the least amount of damage to the overhanging ...
