Today was supposed to be a rain day so we planned things that didn't require good weather. As it turned out it was a beautiful day - probably over 19 degrees!! We started out at the Folk Center - many great pieces from local artisans including quilting, pottery, paintings, woodworking, jewellery no more. Almost immediately, we had to cross Catawba River. A few in the group were concerned about getting wet on this crossing so Shung stood in the middle of the river and moved some rocks around to make the crossing easier. We continued up the trail as it followed Catawba ...

... of Weaverville. Great food!

After we got to the house and took Zero in -- found a closet pretty quickly and slept the rest of the day - we unloaded my bug-caked Prius. Gotta get a picture of that. As promised the PODS arrived, one at a time, with the same driver bringing both. Nice guy, he and Ray had to figure out how to get the two PODS in the driveway with the least amount of damage to the overhanging ...
