On July 16 2014, I went on a class trip to Governors Island. To get there we went of the ferry, its a 30 min wait for the ferry. its not expensive either to get on it. When you on the ferry waiting for the boat to take off , you get beautiful views of the statute of liberty , and new jersey i believe .When you arrive at the island , the first thing you see is the signs that welcomes you to the island.after ...

Only one day in and we had broken Doris...

In New York one must do the touristy things.. visit Statue.. ( think, join 200 sheep and listen to history ), I agree on condition we don't do tour but get Statan Island ferry and take photos as we sail past.. Motion passed
