HAPPY NEW YEAR - WELCOME 2014!!
We left the beautiful cabin in Pine Forest on New Years day and headed home via the quirky little Bavarian themed town - Leavenworth. To escape the FREEZING cold we found refuge in a Bavarian café for lunch to enjoy warm cider, schnitzel, sausage and sauerkraut. Delicious!
A quick stop to purchase a Pork Knuckle and some chocolate coated pretzels and then back on the road - Seattle bound.
No apple strudel for breakfast. Odessa hadn't really woken up by the time we left. We called in at a fast food chain out of town that I won't mention because I promised Chris I wouldn't. ... and then because I was hurt I saw the movie "Annie". We then picked Sam up and ate our picnic dinner in the car driving to Leavenworth. We got there and then went to bed.
