The best part of the day came when Mikey let Victor drive his Super Duty V8 Ford F-350 diesel with dualies.  When Mikey offered, Victor practically flew into the driver's seat.  Once he drove us safely home he couldn't stop talking about the power and the ease of the turning radius and how much better it would pull the trailer than his truck. He was in heaven.  It's good to have dreams!   ...

... Memorial that was there...had been for 3 days. I had never seen it, so in the morning I went thru it...it's modeled afternoon the one in DC. The sadness was overwhelming... It was at the US border that I heard about the Rim Fire. Shocking...and I'm concerned for my several friends who live in the hills at Bucks Meadow. There are several fires in Montana around here, and so the Bitterroot Mountains are not seen ...
