Ted didn't sleep a wink last night due to the very storms, it rained, hailed, sleeted and the wind blew wild, it was so cold that he put on all of his jumpers with the BLUE on on top because it was pouring with rain. Still no such thing as bad weather just the wrong clothing, so he donned his wet weather gear and off he strolled.
Start temperature 3.5c, finish 7.5c, not sure if it's a Brrrrday or a Grrrrrday, still he survived....

Todays section was from Perranuthnoe to Carleen, taking in 5 miles of the splendid South West Coast Path. The length of the walk was 9.4 miles which took us just over 5 hours to complete.
On route we both were alerted to the unmistakable splender of a jay in flight. The SWCP never ceases ...

We emerged into the outskirts of Penzance and after picking up a light lunch, follwed the Coast Path along the bay to Marazion and the beautifully imposing Saint Michaels Mount.
We saw a heron, donkeys, several wild rabbits and an abundance of buzzards taking advantage of the thermals, have taken photo's but had a mishap with the camera (techno dinosaur), I will tell ...

... more about the biking. Oh ...I'm seeing a lot of cool things too! If I wanted to see all the cool things a place has to offer ....forget about it!! I'd be travelling forever!! Wait...? I left Land's End with a new sense of purpose and ripped up to just outside of Penzance where I had a great sleep and then got up the next morning and even in the rain, I was able to blast up to just outside of New Quay where I wild camped and had another good nights sleep. A Day in the Life...
... no shoulders. Rear derailleur started acting up again after Randy, a kind bike mechanic in Bath, who randomly enough hails from Alberta!! fixed it up to perfection a few days previous. Got into Penryn so cold and wet I needed a cafe mocha and hot tea to stave off the hypothermia. You'll be happy to know that this remedy was successfull!
Though meeting up with Jessica and then going Cornish dancing with her and a few of her schoolmates was worth every bit ...
