Left Front Royal at 4:45pm to meet Brian & Cleo in Manassas for a bon voyage dinner. At 5:15 we realized Dave left his phone at home. WOW!! Who would have thought Dave would forget his phone, now that's something I would do!!! So back to Front Royal we went in the pouring rain.I love an adventure!! Just finished dinner ! ... the Blackberry shakes, a older thru-hiker came along, he hiked the trail back in 1974. He came up this way for a reunion of thru-hikers from his year.
