Today was a welcome rest day. We now head into the hills of Kentucky. Some of us patronized the local bike shops and checked and adjusted our machines for the hills to come. I visited bike shops, thrift store, the local library and generally cruised around town looking for history. The layout of the lot is really messy too; most of our homes were parked on one end of the park and the performer entrance had to be set up on the other side of the tent for the tiger enclosures to be rolled in and out, so everyone had quite a hike to get from their homes to the tent. Our ...

I think we finally have this camper about ready to go. We've done a lot of work trying to make it feel less like a trailer and more like home.

Lots of paint, removing old furniture, adding paneling. Switched out the queen bed with a twin and a toddler bed, and built a couch/bed contraption for me and Molly where the old air bed sofa was.

It feels really good in here. Now if everything will hold up on the road, we should be fine.
