... get a better view. Unfortunately there are street lights nearby and we figured out quickly that the lights destroyed any real possibility to capture the lights with a camera, so we had to just enjoy the majestic show 100 plus miles up on the edge of the stratosphere live. I am glad Kevin was able to capture the lights up in Coldfoot as I can at least show Robyn a bit of what they look like even if they are only still ...

... stopped at one of the Denali overlooks to see if she was out but no such luck. Sara and Melora saw the mountain five days straight and this is our third time and still no mountain. We are starting to take it personally! Actually "they" say only about 10% of visitors actually see the mountain any given year. More... Moose! Yeah! Another mom and two babies having a snack roadside, there were some tourists that were way too close in our opinion but fortunately ...

Yeah, the stairs are fixed! It cost around $100 dollars but it
had to be done. Let’s hope they stay fixed this time. The generator
is next! Hopefully we will get the part tomorrow and we will be ready
to dry camp again with juice!

... of drizzle so as we drove off we were in rain another day… 52* as we left… In the first hour of driving we had 4 cars and one RV pass us in the other direction…. The second hour was a little bit more… so with 2 hours of travel we’ve had less than 10 cars in the other direction…. Very slow, quiet day…
