... Anyway lunch was delicious and quite cheap, so we were back on the road with our bellies touching the dashboard.

We headed north to Fairbanks on the Parks Highway, it was raining and there were extended sections of road construction. The trip was wet, muddy and foggy. I wish I could report clear skies in Fairbanks, but that was not the case, just more rain. Being a glacial river the Tanana is very muddy and filled with debris while the Chena is clearer and more slow moving. Eventually the Tanana will join the Yukon north of Fairbanks.
