      ... gorgeous. It was a very dark drive under the canopy...like they say "in the pines, where the sun never shines". But wow, it was amazing. Jeff started to hit the proverbial wall 20 miles outside of our rv site whilst winding our way through the last of the tree topped mountains. We settled into what was our favorite site so far.       ... in just under 4 hours! That was nearly the time allotment for the entire 15 miles. We were all beat and my kids didn't have a backpack. It was that grueling.       It's Spring Break here is Salem, OR and I've decided to make it the ultimate training week. This week my plan is to walk ten miles each day for six consecutive days. Today was day one.
