    ... in just under 4 hours! That was nearly the time allotment for the entire 15 miles. We were all beat and my kids didn't have a backpack. It was that grueling. Finally, we made it back to Chip Ross Park and were overjoyed to see the car. We all hopped aboard and Scarlet drove us to Corvallis. It was 5pm.     ... chance of an energy stealing toddler taking my last vestiges of spunk; the reserves I was planning to use to get home.
