    ... as well. They gave me the Yellow Fever, flu, polio, and tetanus booster vaccinations. 2 shots in each arm! Also received a bottle of Cipro to use if I get a stomach bug, and a script for Malaria pills.....wooowee expensive. I got them the other day at the travel clinic, and man were my arms sore for the next few days. All better now, and that much closer to being ready to go!

    Today's goal was to walk 15 miles over the course of the day with my full backpack. I had scoped out several courses and decided on Dimple Hill, north of Corvallis. The website said the loop was 7.5 miles with some elevation changes - I didn't read the fine print - and I planned to walk the loop twice.

    Back to work after Spring Break and a full week of walking - I've done nothing other than go to work. I thought walking was tiring! Going back to a class full of sixth graders after a break is exhausting!!! It was one of the longest weeks ever...So no training has happened all week. I'm hoping to get out late this afternoon for a walk, but the weather has turned cool and wet!
