      ... gorgeous. It was a very dark drive under the they say "in the pines, where the sun never shines". But wow, it was amazing. Jeff started to hit the proverbial wall 20 miles outside of our rv site whilst winding our way through the last of the tree topped mountains. We settled into what was our favorite site so far.       ... in just under 4 hours! That was nearly the time allotment for the entire 15 miles. We were all beat and my kids didn't have a backpack. It was that grueling. Finally, we made it back to Chip Ross Park and were overjoyed to see the car. We all hopped aboard and Scarlet drove us to Corvallis. It was 5pm.       ... nice and easy. Once at the gym, I jumped into the pool for a 30 minute swim and some relaxing time in the hot tub.
