    Monday, August 3, 2015. PCT day 106 Today is a nero day. We only really had about 1 mile to get to the highway that will take us to Ashland. We were up and ready by 7:30 am. To our surprise, it took only about 15 minutes to score a ride for all 4 of us. Wow! We were in Ashland by about 9 am, enjoying breakfast.     ... it, only a few curious hikers. We did recognize a few names. Of-course we signed it. Continuing on, we climbed up to Paradise Lake to have lunch there. We found JenRaffe here and had lunch with her here for about 1.5 hours. After lunch, the trail climbed steeply again before down climbing 4000 feet to the next campsite with water.     ... nearby there is fishing....and wineries...but after the stressful drive, we'll just sit still and relax. After a nice supper we walked around and this place is just so cool. There is a fishing hole, stocked with bass. There are domestic and wild ducks just waddling or paddling around.     ... how to use a post machine which I loved. I aspire to having one I think. I seem to be really good at the gluing and I made a really good piece of piping.
