Coromandel peninsula
This was prob the most disappointing area for us due to weather conditions..it is meant to have the norths islands best white beaches but unfortunately for us we didnt get to experience them. We left pahia that morning at eleven and didnt arrive to coromandel town until 6!!!! Whangarei 22/11
... att det nya storseglet snart ska vara färdigsytt. Det finns en stor yrkeskunskap inom det mesta för båtar här i Whangarei och de är snabba att fixa saker. Annars får man ge sig ut på långpromenad och någon av firmorna kan oftast stå till tjänst efter den speciella skruven som fattas. Snart är vi klara med det mesta som kan göras medan vi ligger i vattnet.

Tree hugging and water falling
... so we had decided the falls would be in full flow and that would be better than the nearby caves which would probably see us up to our waists in cold water.
The falls were very impressive, cascading as they do down 26 metres before spraying mist in the pool below. A friendly guide in the car park gave us a map and showed us a nice walkway to another nearby Kauri forest and informed us that the falls were at their best for over a month thanks to the rain. ...
